Our Story
GadX.fr started in 2018 out of a 400-square-foot garage in the Mission District. Two brothers, Alex and Jordan Park, were frustrated by the throwaway culture of consumer electronics. A cracked screen meant a new phone. A slow battery meant a new laptop. They knew it didn't have to be that way.
Armed with soldering irons, repair certifications, and a conviction that quality repair should be accessible to everyone, they opened the first GadX.fr storefront on Tech Lane. Word spread fast. Within 18 months, they expanded to a full-service workshop, added a refurbished device program, and built a team of certified technicians who shared their obsession with precision and care.
Today, GadX.fr has served over 5,000 customers across the Bay Area. We've kept over 8,000 devices out of landfills through repair and refurbishment. What started as a two-person operation now operates from a 3,200-square-foot facility with diagnostic stations, a cleanroom for microsoldering, and a dedicated refurbishment lab. The mission hasn't changed: make quality repair and refurbished tech accessible and affordable.
